Make your own Petit Pain au Chocolat for a luxurious breakfast treat, Ramadan offering or tea time snack. Although my kids are usually happy with the petit pain we buy from local bakeries, they rave about homemade ones when I take time to prepare them from scratch using this basic croissant dough recipe. A single batch will yield 16 medium-sized pastries. Freeze the leftovers, and reheat them in the oven directly from the freezer for just-baked quality and taste.
