Moroccans have a fondness for shaping cookies and pastries into petite forms, and that's exactly how my in-laws and I prepare chocolate eclairs, making this popular French pastry an inviting addition to a Moroccan tea time or holiday sweets table. My family doesn't wait for special occasions to make them, however; we've used this Mini Chocolate Eclairs Recipe twice this Ramadan to serve at ftour, and the kids are already asking for them again.
While making pastries into a smaller size means a little more prep work, if you're not a perfectionist you won't mind letting your kids get involved in this baking project. My kids help with a large variety of cooking tasks, and when it comes to eclairs, they're able to pipe the dough, fill the pastries and decorate. (And yes, they help with clean-up too!)
