Calamari in Moroccan Tomato Sauce

A zesty tomato sauce is essential to a number of classic Moroccan preparations, including the flavorful dish shown here - Tagine of Calamari in Tomato Sauce. The fresh seafood is stewed until tender in the homemade sauce, and the finished calamari can either be served in typical tagine-style with Moroccan bread or offered atop of bed of rice, couscous or pasta. A simple chopped salad or Salade Marocaine with Tuna is all that's needed to complete the meal.
