Definition:
Moroccan Arabic: بيض بالدي
Bayd beldi is Moroccan Arabic for organic eggs, or eggs from free range chickens. They're often small with a pale-colored shell, with yolks that remain bright yellow to orange even after being cooked. Bayd beldi are not quite a delicacy, but they're considered better-tasting and better quality than the larger, browner eggs (bayd) which are more widely available.
Pronunciation: by-id bil-dee
Alternate Spellings: baid bildi, beid bildi
