Berrad – sometimes spelled barrad – is the Moroccan Arabic word for teapot. The plural is brared.

Moroccan teapots range from very simple and inexpensive aluminum to ornately-etched stainless steel or silver. Moroccan tea – atay – is steeped within the berrad and served in tea glasses, which also might be plain or decorated.
