Definition:
Qodban is the Moroccan Arabic word for skewer. It also refers to the meat which is seasoned with Moroccan spices and herbs, threaded onto skewers and cooked over fire or charcoal.
The words "brochette" and "kebab" may also be used in place of qodban.
