Definition:
Tashelhit is one of the leading Berber (Amazigh) languages spoken in Morocco. It is used by the Shilha (Chleuh in French) people of the Atlas Mountains and Souss Valley, with an estimated 3 to 4 million Moroccans speaking it.
Another widely-used Berber language is Tamazight.
