Maadnous

Moroccan Arabic: معدنوس

Maadnous is the Moroccan Arabic word for parsley. It's a bit of a deviation from the standard Arabic for the same word: بقدونس.

Both flat leaf parsley and cilantro (kasbour) are used widely in Moroccan cuisine. If you're buying either in large quantity, you'll want to wash and store the herbs properly. Parsley and Cilantro Tips explains how.
