Sheep on Hillside

Some of our extended family convene each year for Eid Al-Adha at my sister-in-law's rural property outside of Casablanca. One year as were busy with the work of several slaughters, we could see a female sheep grazing in a nearby field. Few families will select such an ewe on Eid, as Islamic tradition is to buy a ram, or male sheep, for the sacrificial slaughter.
