Make the dough and divide it into balls

Start by making the dough for the batbout.

Divide the dough into balls. Keep in mind that the diameter of the cooked batbout will be about 2 1/2 times larger than the diameter of the ball of dough.

Place the balls of dough on a lightly floured surface. Cover with a towel, and leave the dough to rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
