How to Blanch, Peel and Fry Almonds

Blanch the almonds in boiling water for one minute.

Bring some water to a boil, and slide the almonds into the pot. Allow them to sit in the water for about a minute, but not too much longer or they'll become soggy.

Immediately drain the almonds in a colander.
